The holidays are almost upon us. Don’t stay home. Run away. My suggestion? Head to Costa Blanca in Spain for holidays
. I know that people like to spend the holidays at home, because it’s a magical time of year. But why?
It’s that magical time of year when the snow beings to fall on bare branches, when the lazy sun pulls the horizon over its head like an old comforter after just a few hours, when long johns are worn underneath jeans and sweaters and coats and scarves and wool hats, when a certain melancholy creeps into every one of the many cups of tea and coffee that are required to get through the day, when you bite your tongue as the cousins and aunts and uncles that you purposely avoid throughout the year tell you why the guy you voted for is going to ruin the entire world, when the you have to battle through an endless wave of humanity through malls and giant retail outlets to show you care about the people you love, when you gain ten pounds eating the never ending wave of baked goods that come your way. Ah the holidays!
A trip to Costa Blanca is a much better idea than dealing with all of that. Or if you do have to deal with that, at least reward yourself afterward with a trip to Costa Blanca. Costa Blanca has never ending beaches, restaurants, nightlife, and it’s sunny and warm and beautiful and nobody is making you feel bad about not eating their snowman sugar cookies. You’ll enjoy it more. I know I did.
