A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I were all set to head to France. We were staying in Amsterdam at the time, driving a rental car that seemed to have seen better days. We were about to make our trip when I began realizing that, even if the dilapidated rental was able to make it all the way to Paris, we were still going to have to sit in traffic in a car with no radio or chargers for our phones.
We were about to hit the road when, thankfully, I thought of a better way to get us Amsterdam to Paris
. I sat down at my laptop and looked up the iDBUS schedule. I think it may have been the best decision of the week.
Since this was a spur of the moment detour, I imagined that I’d end up having to pay a hefty sum to get us two seats on a bus that left later that day. Thankfully, with iDBUS coach trips
there’s no need to book tickets months in advance just to save some money. iDBUS’s Mini Price always remain the same, everyday you can find at least one bus at £39 (from Amsterdam to Paris), so our spur-of-the-moment trip didn’t end up costing us.
The first thing I noticed when getting on the bus (other than the fact that booking us seats on the iDBUS meant my girlfriend and I weren’t going to spend the next few hours arguing over the best way to get out of a traffic jam) was how spacious it was. I’m fairly confident our seats were actually larger than the entirety of our rental. Not only that, but the bus came fully equipped with WiFi, so my girlfriend was able to video chat with her mother and let her know all about our trip.
I was able to plug my iPod into the outlet, recline the seat, and relax as our Captain whisked us away from our beaten-up rental and our old traveling ways. After they make traveling in style and comfort feel so effortless, I’m finding it pretty hard to resist booking another ticket.
