You’re in Hong Kong for 24 hours, how do you know what’s worth seeing? Well, the first thing you need to do is backup and book a longer trip. The next thing you need to do is read this list of the most amazing places to visit in Hong Kong.
Avenue of Stars
Have you ever been to Hollywood Boulevard and its line of stars? Similar to the Los Angeles landmark, Hong Kong’s Avenue
features its most prominent stars, including an extremely detailed bronze statue of Bruce Lee. You will find plaques that commemorate celebrities along with hand prints. There is even a life-sized statue of a cute little cartoon pig called “McDull,” the star of a popular children’s show. The atmosphere is full of showmanship, and the Avenue is an excellent vantage point for the multimedia show “A Symphony of Lights.”
Ladies’ Market
The Ladies’ Market is situated on a public street in Hong Kong. There are no set hours, but vendors are generally open for business by noon. The street shuts down to all traffic from 4 PM to midnight, and from then on is almost entirely pedestrian. It’s mostly window shopping, but there are rows of food carts serving Asian noodle dishes and dumplings.
Victoria Peak
Victoria Peak is where you want to end your day. It’s a panoramic view of the entire city, including a skyline that borders on impossible. It’s a humbling place where all of Hong Kong’s energy and drama is summed up in one majestic view.
