Sponsored Video: First Steps in Miami

July 16, 2018 by Jason B.

Arriving into Miami is the first step on a wonderful adventure. The city is known all over the world for its beautiful beaches and rich cultural heritage, and is a must-visit destination for Americans and foreign visitors alike. When first leaving the air-conditioned airport you will be hit by the sights, sounds, and heat of Miami. Where should your feet take you next?

Beach Party

Head out east to world-famous Miami Beach for some sun, sea and sand. Miami’s climate makes the beaches a popular destination throughout the year, and in the ummer, the water temperature makes for a very comfortable swim. The brave can shed their bikini tops for some tanning on Miami beach, and the really adventurous can head out to North Beach’s Haulover Park. An all-over tan completes the Miami look.

Amazing Animals

If you’re a nature-lover, your main focus will, of course, be the Florida Everglades. Whether you choose to take an airboat and enjoy a guided tour or make your own way to this amazing ecosystem, you’ll find the beauty of the Everglades stays with you. You might also want to drop by Zoo Miami, Florida’s oldest zoo, which is home to more that 1,200 animals. With Miami’s tropical climate, the zoo can boast a wide range of exotic animals from all over the world. Top off your wildlife viewings with a visit to the Miami Seaquarium.

Artistic Exhibits

The more artistically inclined will be looking forward to the Lowe Art Museum and the Frost Art Museum. In addition to mid-20th century photography and ancient artifacts, the Frost Art Museum draws on Miami’s rich Latin American Heritage in its exhibition of Latin American and Caribbean art.

Miami Airport is your gateway to one of the world’s most amazing cities.
