Today I have another inspiring travel video to share. The video features Paris in a different light that we are used to seeing. Not just its famous museums with the Mona Lisa and french fries croissants. Because stereotypes are just that. Stereotypes heard about destinations at one point did represent the place accurately. But they are often years behind the real deal.
Paris is supposedly one of those cities with much more than snobby attitudes and stinky cheese. I have never been there, but I know such a perception is impossible.
Coming from any major city Paris is an ultra convenient ride away on the Eurostar train. Once you’re there you can check into a hostel located in virtually any neighborhood of the city for a budget price. I’m serious. Whether you want to stay next to the Eiffel Tower or near one of the delicious fresh food markets featured in the video, anything is possible.
When I do finally visit Paris I know exactly what i’d like to do. Eat. It is not that I am an adventurous eater but from years of observation I understand where the term high cuisine came from. Sure, i’ll also check out the Mona Lisa. And i’ll make sure to read at least one book in a cafe.
