Lost. In Buenos Aires.

November 2, 2018 by Jason B.

A typical thursday night in Buenos Aires means the start of the weekend for me. See, I don’t actually have any classes on Friday. Never.

After finishing my Theory of Tango class (in Spanish), i’ll walk the 2o minutes from university back home and make dinner, followed by a nap.

I wake up at 11:30 PM for a shower and then begin drinking. On this particular night, I went with my Brazilian friend Alex to his Argentine friend’s apartment for some pre-drinking.

After vodka and sprite while dancing to cheesy music, we went to Lost. Lost is a club open only on thursdays where they play only hiphop.

The music is good and the place is always packed.

Fast forward to 6am and you’ll find us in a taxi on the way back home.

Haha..that guy your with is about the creepiest guy Ive ever seen…! Look its like a slow buildup: first with the cheesey grin, then the prototypical tongue out at a club shot, then he has actually leaned in to sniff that girls hair, another tongue out shot, and finally you can tell hes angling to get into every shot that you took…too funny. If that your typical competition in Argentina for the ladies, then your all set! Alas, I know that he is probably not typical…but I imagine your blonde gringoness gets you pretty far regardless…those girls looked like fun!

    Great observations Chris!

I'd rather not comment on that publicly since some family read this and its possible he may read this too. But i'll just say although he may look that way, he does pretty well for himself.

Being a gringo with blond hair does not help me so much in Argentina where that look is pretty common for the locals to have. But in other countries like Peru and Colombia, I can definitelly say it does. Colored eyes help a ton!
